The rabbit was served with Louis Jadot LaDoix 2011 from Burgundy, ladoix is a village north of Beaune in southern burgundy. Usually producers of red wine this white is produced with grapes from Corton Hill part of the domain, 360 meters above sea level & south east facing, which means plenty of sunshine.

It is 100% Chardonnay aged in oak barrels for 15 months, however it foes not have a strong Oak flavour like a lot of Chardonnys, on the palate it is fruity, minerally & crisp, on the nose it has scents of vanilla & slight oak.

it pairs beautifully with white meats & shellfish .
